Sequences mass modification - "reset" fade/hold time

Post by olczak »

Hi,
If in a cue you have 30 sequences, each sequence having different Fade or Hold time, if you select the 30 sequences to modify for example the color (let's say set all sequence to use the Blue color), all fade or hold time in all sequences are modified to be the same as the 1st sequence in the selection list. So if you generated the sequence using the FX feature for example, you can not do after a mass modification as you will loose the fade or hold time generated by the FX feature creating the sequence.
Anyway to be able to do mass modification of 1 parameter (color, gobo, dimmer) without impacting fade/hold time?

Hi,
What kind of modification do you want to make on the color, gobo or dimmer? you can disable the fade on channels for a sequence if you want. Can you explain a little bit more please
Thanks a lot

Let me try to explain again....
If you select all the scenes within 1 sequence, then all the Fade and Hold times are reset using the value of the 1st scene selected if you do any other modification (a color value, a gobo selection...)
So if you create 100 scenes in you sequence with, for each scene, different Fade or Hold time, if you select the 100 scenes to make 1 modification (for example set the color to blue), the modification is done BUT in addition ALL Fade or Hold times are reset too to the value of the scene1 (the first scene selected).
So If you do not want to loose you Fade or Hold time configuration, you have to manually select all scenes 1 after 1 and change the color to blue.
