New Version 30/05/2018 does not detect the ultimate

The last days I'd tried to switch my installation from the old beta version of last year to the new LumiDesk version beeing available at the download area with date "30/05/2018".
The installation was fine, but the new version does not dedect my hardware, which is an Ultimate with firmware 1.20.
What's the problem and how can I solve it?

BTW: Are there some release notes figuring out what is new/changed with the new version of May?

HI!
Try to upgrade the firmware on the controller, use the hardware manager that comes with the lumidesk software, see if this helps. Also can you send me the serial number of your controller with a picture of the top and the bottom of the controller to my email

The failure in the Hardware manager is "Can not open device. Functionality not supported"
The firmware was already updated.
Firmware = V1.20
Device Type = SIUDI7A
Device Name = Siudi_7B
Serial = 103552
Product Code = LD ULTIMATE (0x08ooooo5)

I am having the same problem. I am using Ultimate device with Siudi Driver 2/11/2016 release date and my lumidesk software wont detect it.
Please help

I had this problem a few months ago and had to roll back to older installation. I thought it was just me.

It looks like this hasn't been dealt with yet? I've upgraded my PC and don't have a copy of the software prior to the May 2018 release and I'm having the same issue. Does anyone have a copy available?

The reason why the controller can not be detected by the software could be that is an older version of the LD ultimate, for instances the controller with a board 7A are no longer compatible with the newest released of the software, so you will need to use older version, here is a link to download an older version of lumidesk

Thanks - the issue was that the new software requires a new firmware (1.24 vs. 1.23) and the Hardware Manager from prior versions does not indicate new firmware is available. Using the May 2018 Hardware Manager, users can see a new firmware and once upgraded, the May 2018 Lumidesk connects to the DMX interface.
Christopher Roch from Nicolaudie walked me through everything.
