Can this software do this?

Hi folks
Roly here.
I am primarily an audio guy,.. doing lights is an occupational hazard.
I must admit.........sometimes lights are fun......only when the band is good.
A good band doesn't need that much management on my end so I get to lean into the lights more.

Shut up Roly and ask your question.

Is this possible?..........Can a key on a keyboard set to work as a momentary switch engage a sequence that overrides the existing scene and when released, the existing scene is restored?

cheers
Roly

Hello,

You can set your sequences to stacking mode by right click the sequence on the live desktop and select set to stacking mode, then you can assign a key on the keyboard to trigger a sequence, go to the settings on the sequence and go to the shortcut tab, click on add shortcut and press the key on the keyboard you want to use to trigger the scene.

I think this is a good approach to what you want to do.

Kind Regards.
