Hi everybody,

since using lumidesk ultimate for my lightshows, i have problems with the dmx-in function.
i want to use the dmx-in to control dimmers, shutters and strobes etc manually from an 24ch-dmx control device (elation scene setter24).
after hours of trying to get the dmx-in work i found out that it just doesnt work in the live-mode ?!
in the "desktop"-mode it works..
does anybody know why?

Hello, in live mode you need to enable the channel you want to control. The best way would be to :
1. select the fixtures you want to control in Live on the Live Desktop
2. Enable the channels you want to control from the Live Presets
3. Create a Live button action, right click > as you see now.

Then we you will select the button you will be able to control the channels with the DMX IN assigned in Programation mode
