URGEND: Profiles do not work with new Lumidesk Version
Because the new version (08/11/2018) does not longer support my older interface I was forced to bye a new Ultimate interface for more than €350,- :( . However now I have the problem that some of the fixture profiles cannot be read by the new version although the corresponding new Scan Library Editor...

Re: Fade time on single scene cues
Hallo Casey, thanks a lot. Using the fade time in Live Mode works :-) However, it is mostly very important to understand the philosophy of a the software. Therefore I wish much more documentation via a short description when holding the mouse over per each function. For example, what are the effects...

Urgend request to activate the fade time in the first scene in a sequence
Within the live mode it is very important for having the option of activating the fade time for the first scene in a sequence in any case. Actually in live mode the fade-in time of the first scene in a sequence (short button) is executed only, if the sequence is started via the entire cue (large bu...

Oh, great to hear that, but when can we expect this upcoming version? The latest one is already older than 2,5 years

Re: Sort of presets
Thanks for this information. Are there some plans to improve the GUI in the future for more flexibility to arrange it? Is somewhere a list viewable for getting a rough idea, on which functionality/ issues/ solutions the lumidesk team is working actually, by means what are the plans for the next bugf...

Control by motorized faders with feedback?
Is it possible to user motorized faders like the Beringer BCF2000 have with Lumidesk Ultimate in a bi-directional way? As I understood, it is no problem to control Lumidesk via MIDI with such a controller board (MIDI to DMX). But is it also possible to get the feedback from Lumidesk to the Midi cont...

Re: Fade time on single scene cues
Hi Andrew, yes, I figured out it too. From my perspective it is absolutely unbelievable, that such a fundamental function - a smooth fade-in when tapping onto a scene button - is not available/working :?: How long is Lumidesk on the market? ... since 5 years? ... and nobody figured out respectively ...

Re: Fade time on single scene cues
Hi Andrew,
thanks a lot for your answer.
I also prefer option 2
And I hope LumiDesk will solve it soon, because your work around may fix the issue for static lamps (I have to test it later on) but may not work for moving heads as you described before.
Regards
Andreas

Sort of presets
I have a simple question, because I'm new to Lumidesk. Is it possible somehow to bring the presets of a fixture in the window at the right in another order, e.g., so that the channel amber or white is close to the RGB channels? Usually I would change the color of a RGBA or RGBW LED fixture by using ...

Re: Fade time on single scene cues
Hi @all, I'm Andreas from Germany and I'm new to the Lumidesk too. I was working very successful with myDMX since more than 5 years. I switched to Lumidesk Ultimate, because I would like to use - more than one univers - combine the light control with sound Input - and very important stack scenes Swi...
