Hi Julien,
I missed this post. I'm VERY interested in the palette feature. But where is it? Can''t find anything....
Best regards,
Mark

Blue dots in presets
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what the blue/grey dots in the lower right corner of the presets are for. I think they must have something to do with whether or not a channel setting is affected, but i can't make anything of their behaviour....

Mark

Re: Auto release
Hi Casey, I see your point, but its not what i mean. An example: I make a sequence in which i position a nu ber of fixtures, select a gobo, colors etc. I use the next sequences to just fade in the fixtures. This way you won't see the fixture moving or selecting colors and gobos while fading in. What...

Re: EasyView on other computer
Hi Casey,
I've done that already, but without a second video card or a specials dual video card the performance is dramatic. So, my option not possible?

Mark

EasyView on other computer
Hi,
Is there a way to run the visualizer on a second computer, connected via ethernet or via another controller speaking DMX?

Mark

Auto release
Hi, Is there a way that a sequence - after it's finished - leaves the settings of the fixtures alone, i.e. that everything doesn't snap back to their defaults? I'm working in stacking mode, and sometimes i want to use settings from a prevous sequence in the next. I can do that by using the auto rele...

Re: Flashing behavior at beginning of Fade In
Hi, I had the exact same problem. First i thought that it had something to do with EasyView, but in de DMX-level screen you can see that Lumidesk actually sends out the flash. I solved it by creating a two scene sequence, where the fade-in occurs from scene1 to scene2, thus rendering the fade-in in ...

New Beta doesn't see Ultimate
Hi, Last weekend i downloaded the new beta-version (2012-01-20). When i start up i get a popup window that tells me to update the firmware in my interface (Ultimate). I click OK and Lumidesk starts up (in Demo mode so it doesn't see the interface?) I immediately get the message from the Tools applic...

multiple pars responding to one channel
Hi, I'm setting up a show in a venue where a number of 'par sets' are coupled to a particular channel of a dimmer. So, one dimmer channel (corresponding to one dmx channel) controls multiple lights. Is there a way to set this up in lumidesk? Can patch a number of pars all right but then they all hav...

Easy View movie recorder
Hi,
I have a problem with the easy view movie recorder. I have programmed a 22 second sample show and have recorded it with the movie recorder. Everything works fine except that the resulting movie is only 11 seconds long!
Anyone have any insights?
Best regards,
Mark

Rotating gobos
Hi, I'm programming a show with Martin MAC250 Kryptons and Entours. I have trouble getting the gobo's to rotate. I checked the ssl2 files and everything seems correct. Maybe Easy View can't handle rotation? For the record, i'm just programming with easy view as visualizer. Don't have the real fixtur...

Re: Crash
Hi Julian, thanks for your reply. I'm using the aug 10 2011 09:02:23 version. What i do is exit the program (either with the Quit command or the close button on the right of the title bar. The Lumidesk window disappears and immediately a message from windows pos up, saying the program had a problem ...
Crash
Hi, I recently aquired Lumidesk. Works like a charm, except when i close the program it crashes. No harm, cause all changes are secure, but i wondered if someone else has te same problem. I had it running on WinXp at first, and i thought that it might be a problem with my system. A week ago i reinst...
