Selecting fixtures

Selecting fixtures
Ok so i'm just learning this software but i cant seem to find an answer for this. If i have multiple fixtures of one fixture and I want to select 7 of the 10, how do i do this? i see select all in that family but not an option for just a few. Am i missing something? Please dont mind me, i'm very new to computer based software and not very expertised in it.

ok so i figured this out...guess this takes some time to just play with this sorry.

no worries....it happens to me all the time. With the groups feature you can even go so far as to setup groups for fast selecting. Like odds are group 1, evens are group 2, and so on.
