What interface do you have? Is it plugged into the computer when you are trying to record?

I have Lumidesk Ultimate, firmware 1.20, SIUDI-7A and have plugged into the computer interface.

I can record video like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYGaSV74MhM <- very bad graphic and no move

From the website:

System requirements

• Microsoft® Windows® XP (32-bit / 64-bit editions), 512MB of RAM, Windows Vista™ (32-bit / 64-bit editions), 1GB of RAM or Windows 7 (32-bit / 64-bit editions).

• 200MB of available hard-disk space.

• 1,024x768 monitor resolution with 16-bit video card.

• USB 2 port (USB 1 not supported).

It is best if you do not have shared memory. Which means that your video card shares ram with your computer. But also, visit www.lumidesk.com and click on the video tutorials. There is a instruction video for the video recording. Watch it and make sure you are following the steps correctly.

Move camera it is ok, but rendering is very slow with shadows.

My opinion about Lumidesk (not EasyView) . Very good idea and clearly interface but very much bug / errors. So copy 6 times palettes up to 12 moving head have to wait about 5 minuts :(

I'll test the video recorder on my system to see if it may be a bug in the visualizer. But it sounds like it may be something with your computer. I'll test tonight or tomorrow and post back.

I just ran a test on my system and the movie recorder works perfectly. There are some different codec settings that you may want to check in the recorder window. I used the avi codec. Once you hit record the first test is choppy as it is memorizing the transition points, the second pass is smooth, and the final video is smooth with and without show playback.

Check this show with shadows.

No shadows = 24 FPS
With Shadows = 2 FPS
