slow fade between 2 color in Moving-head

Post by mark »

Hello ,
I programed 1 que ( existing of only 2 sequence ) for the ADJ VIZI BEAM .

The 2 sequences only consist of : sequence 1 : color RED on the gobo color wheel
sequence 2 : color LIGHT BLAU on the color wheel

These 2 color are next after eich other in the ADJ color wheel .

How can i make a SLOW trancician from the color RED to the color LIGHT BLAU ?

The two sequence are both 00:01:00 sec long with no fade time .

I did some testing with the fade time .. but stil the color wheel just moves fast from 1 color over to the other color ...

You need to schedule a fade time to make a slow transition. like 5 or 10 seconds. Also check the fade button on the color selector so that color fade is on.

Hello Mark, is your moving head with a color wheel or a CMY/RGB mixing ?

if you have a color wheel, you cannot have a fade between color...

Hello Mark, what do you call slow transition ? With a color wheel you will see the first color and then the first + next color and then the next color, to do that you just put a fade time, do you see what I mean ? This is a color wheel : Image

Let me know if I answered your question
Thanks

Hello ,

What i mean is slow rotation of the color wheel .
In specific at the ADJ VIZI Beam ... I have made 6 steps, ( where the vizi beam piont in diferend directions )
Now i whant that by every step the color moves 1 place to the folowing color in the wheel .
It works alrady ,l but ath the bigining of the step the color moves white fasttest speed to the next color and than stops ( in the meantime te step of the moving head is still busy going slowly to the next position )

How /where do i set the speed so fast/slow ( of the color wheel ) that the color wheel starts to rotate to the next color in the color wheel and is finist dowing that exaxtly at the same moment when the moving head is finist white its step to the next piont .

Hope this is better explaint .

Hello Mark, if your fixture have a color wheel speed channel, then you will be able to adjust the speed, what you want to do depend of the fixture functions this is not a software issue.

Thanks
