I'll try to figure a simplified situation:
I have some architectural rgb lights connected to lumidesk, and some moving heads connected to a lighting consolle.
I want that sometime all lights assume the same colors.
I use the DMX IN feature of Lumidesk to read the RGB color of the moving heads simply by linking dmx in to the appropriate channels inside lumidesk.
But to let this work, in live mode, i have to select the lights in LIVE DESKTOP and manually enable the function.
What i'm looking for is a button that can enable/disable the link so i can select if i want lumidesk respond to external dmx in or use its internal programs to manage the lights.
If that button is midi or port triggerable will be perfect.
There is any solution?
i hope i have explained well what i want..

Enable/Disable DMX IN
Re: Enable/Disable DMX IN
Hello, you might be able to do it with a Live Action button, you select the Channels you want to control, add the info to the Live Action Button (as you see now). Then when you will enable the Live action button you will enable the function.
You can control the Live Action with a shortcut.
Thanks
