Hi,
I recently aquired Lumidesk. Works like a charm, except when i close the program it crashes. No harm, cause all changes are secure, but i wondered if someone else has te same problem. I had it running on WinXp at first, and i thought that it might be a problem with my system. A week ago i reinstalled my system with Win7, and the problem persists. Any ideas anyone?
Best regard,
Mark

Hello Mark, can you tell me what version are you using? (date) and what do you do exactly to make the software crash?
Thanks

Hi Julian, thanks for your reply.
I'm using the aug 10 2011 09:02:23 version. What i do is exit the program (either with the Quit command or the close button on the right of the title bar.
The Lumidesk window disappears and immediately a message from windows pos up, saying the program had a problem and stopped functioning.
One more thing: the changes i make to the general setting are gone the next time i start up the program, so i guess it crashed before it could store these settings.
By the way, the beta version from the website displays the same behaviour.
Hope to hear from you. Thanks.
Best regards,
Mark

Users...also keep in mind that if you're running windows 7.....lumidesk likes it better if you run as administrator. You can right click on the lumidesk icon and click run as dminitrator each time.....OR you can right click....properties, security?? and check the box for run as administrator. After your next start up windows will always run lumidesk as admin.

I am currently running the beta. I'm having a not responding problem when i click on something or do something that might be wrong. is this a new problem or would running as an admin fix it since i run windows 7?

Try running the program as admin and see what you get.
