Hello ,

I have a problem with the Quad Phase from Amerikan DJ.
When programing mode, ( Desktop-Desktop ) in 3d mode the licht stay on, but the shutter is "up". In real,( i have the Quad Phase conected whith the Lumidesk ) the light is out as it shoud be.
So it sm difficult to program as in real the light do someting else then in the 3d visualizer...

I don't think programming fixtures like the quad phase offline in the 3D visualizer is practical. Some fixtures you gotta plug it in and program it. The good thing is these lights are smal and more portable that moving heads and scanners.

Excuse me,

Now it is not practical to program them in the 3d visualizer, because the 3d visualizer isnt doing what it shoud do !!!

But thats why i spend more money on the Lumidesk so that i can program at home leaving the fixtures on the stage...

The quad phase is basically a spin and puke light. It's light beams are little dashes. Big difference from a scanner or moving head with a gobo. The 3D is a great offline tool, but like I said, for spin and puke lights, it's better to program with the light connected. What's the big deal? Plug it in and place it on the table. spin and puke lights do not pan and tilt. all you can do is point them in one direction. You're only changing rotation, color, shutter, and dimming.

The problem is not the LIGHT,,
The problem is that i buy somting that tels my that it work. And if i pay extra it even have 3D for programming at home.
Than when i am home , i found out that olmost anyting that i conect i need to configure myself because IT DOS NOT WORK CORECTLY.....

Its like you buy a car and it dos not have the weels to drive...

Mayby you understand my now..

Where is the world going to dese days.....

I am treing to make a nice light show. That have just a little bit more than only moving heads. ( mayby this is to difficult for you to understand but it is posible )
So it would by nice if the scans and Quad Fhaze put out the same color when i want to....

The problem is that the 3D has limitations based on certain types of light fixtures. It's nothing wrong with the 3D, it's that the effect the light gives off can't be reproduced. The software is downloadable to try before you buy. The limitations on the 3D rendering would easily be discovered had you taken the time to test your actual fixtures in the program.

All you have to do is plug the quad phase into the interface to SEE what the light is doing as you make adjustments. You can program your moving heads just fine offline at the same time.

I re-read your first post, perhaps you need to use a different profile for the fixture. Get the profile from ADJ at this link. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2zpbbncoh2oywge/N-oxXE7de-
