Hi.

I have just downloaded and installed Lumidesk Beta on my laptop, I then selected 2 Martin MX4 fixtures.
The first fixture shows all the correct presets but the second one faile to show the presets but simply show the question mark icon.
I have closed the program re booted the PC and did the same again but the problem still exists.

Any ideas ?

Seems to run fine on my desktop. I can select each mx4 seperatly or together. Test with your interface connected but with no fixtures, connected with fixtures, and with the interface not connected to your computer (demo mode). Do you have the same problem?

Thanks for your advise as soon as my hardware arives I will give it a try, on the non beta software it works correctly, only when i use the beta version.

I also think I have started this thread in the wrong place, It should have been under the "New Lumidesk Beta" topic - Hopefullt a admin will move it.

Hello all, I can say I am experiencing the same
I have selected two fixtures (any) patched them in now when you select the first all the function icons appear as they should, if you select the second fixture they have gone and been replaced with ? marks but the functions remain intact so it is only a graphic display problem as far as I can tell.
I have also noted if you a patch a different pair of fixtures (again any) the same happens only the first fixture displays the correct function icons
This is the same with or without the hardware attached. and on two separate computers.

Can I also add another bug I found was as follows
1 Create a new cue
2 Start adding a sequence (say four as an example)
3 Now select all four and copy them.
4 Now Paste them and Scene numbers have gone leaving only the name Scene
Added to this I have also found the next problem
1 Create a new cue
2 Start adding a sequence (say four as an example)
3 Now rename several of the Scenes leaving at least one as its original name
4 Select all copy and paste you will find the renamed scenes have kept there name but the original named scenes have lost the number
5 Now try and delete a Scene and Lumidesk crashes every time

I hope this is of some help as beta tests go, I am still looking into the FX issues I raised directly with you a month ago

Sorry I cannot be of any asistance here I am still waiting for my hardware to arrive from the USA.

I have just uninstalled the previous beta and installed the new one you have just uploaded. When I started the program it showed it was in demo mode with the date of the 9th of november.
I then patched 2 x martin MX4 fixtures and the problem still exists.
in the first fixture the colours are quite dark for example the green is a dark green, when you click on the second fixture the colours show alot brighter.
The gobos and shutter show correctly on the first fixture but not on the second.

when I closed the application it gave the microsoft warning " Lumidesk_Beta has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. with the send error report and dont send buttons

I have the same problems, (version 9 Nov.) it looks like it is not possible to open the same images two times.
i have also notes that by a fixture whits use 2 time's the same picture the problem occurs.
for sapless, a gobo wheel whit a gobo X and the second time gobo X but than shake.

Still using Oct 22 beta, I got it to do it once. The mx4 colors were different between the first fixture and the second fixture. I removed the fixtures and re-patched them and they worked fine. Could be something wityh the fixture profiles? I see that the graphics for the gobos are incomplete. (hense all the ? boxes.)

Sorry for the delay in my reply.

I have removed the old version of Lumidesk and then installed the new version via the link you posted,
The problem still remains the second fixture still is missing its icons this is the case regardles of numbers of fixtures and order patched only the first fixture has the icons showing in the presets window.

You keep posting them and we will keep trying them thank you for you work so far though

The problem has been fixed as all fixtures now show the same colours and gobos no matter what fixture is selected.

I am still however still gettting the "Lumidesk_Beta.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" error. I emailed you a image of the error in the previous rar file.

I do not have any hardware connected as yet - Still waiting for the ultimatre to arive from USA.

I am using XP SP3 fully updated.

You just need to connect the interface to the external power supply OR you leave the interface connected to the PC but you need to make sure LumiDesk is closed.
