DMX in

I have a church that is curently using a 24 chanel Behringer LC2412 DMX board and it works fine for them exept when they have a Play or Proformance. They want to get a computer controler so they can control more chanels then the board they have. If you have the LumiDesk ULTIMATE hooked up with the Behringer to the in of the LumiDesk ULTIMATE will the DMX signal pass through the USB controler when the computer is off.

Hi Larry.
If it was me I would take the DMX cable out of the Behringer LC2412 and just use the Lumidesk Ultimate for the show, then when you have finished plug the DMX cable back into the Behringer LC2412 so that others can use the desk they are used to.

Larry, I'm fairly certain the software will have to be open and connected to the Lumidesk interface to allow for dmx input. I don't think the standalone feature on the ultimate interface will work without the woftware connected. I could be wrong though!

Hello,
you need to have the sftware open and the interface connected to be able to get any DMX In function, same with midi.

i have a lumidesk live and i noticed that not all the lightning tables that i hook up on the dmx in can be used for example a lite 4 does it fine but my stage designer 50 doesn't seems to be compatible
does anyone know how i can still use my stage designer 50 for my dmx in put
