Lumidesk on Parallels for Mac Help

I've successfully installed Lumidesk on a mac running parallels with Windows 7. The program starts up, works, recognizes my dongle and midi device. However, when I go to set a new midi button, nothing happens. I'm not sure if this is a parallels issue or not but is there anyway to install Lumidesk on a Mac that everything will work ? I haven't tried bootcamp yet, but if anyone has a workaround, I'm open to suggestions.
