Hi, having problems programming Martin MX 10, Martin Wizard extreme and Acme CTL6
some features and settings such as gobo rotate speed, prism are missing or not working even more are not working for the Wizard!!! am I missing something or is it an SSL issue? Running the latest beta version, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Re: SSL Problems
Have they worked fine in previous releases? Or are you a new user?

Re: SSL Problems
Hi , Thanks for the reply, Yes new user been using Lumidesk for a few weeks.
Once I've patched the fixtures and opened the 3 D visualizer some the effects don't work and some of the features are missing, like prism rotate prism speed control, (Martin MX 10) even more so on a Martin Wizard extreme most of the features don't work!!! barrel rotate and pan even the macros aren't working for some reason.
Cheers

Re: SSL Problems
The features of some fixtures cannot be replicated in the 3D visualizer. Mostly effects like the Wizard or moon flower effects. Movers, scanners, pars all mostly work very well. Also, the profile for the fixtures may need some tweaking to get all the features. Sometimes the profiles just don't get made correctly. Are you saying that not all the features are qworking when you are connected directly to the light, or just in the 3D?

Re: SSL Problems
The wizard in the 3 D visualiser only does lamp on and a gobo and colour rotate effect apart from that none of the other effects seem to work!!!.
As for the MX10 some of the features work and others don't such as prism and prism rotate, I really do like the Lumidesk its probably one of the most user friendly softwares I have come across that's easy to get on with, Im more interested in setting up the shows in the visualizer without having to set-up equipment and programme live, I want to do must of the work using the visualiser and then tweak when I have to set-up lighting equipment to test, I will be buying Lumidesk Ultimate but not just yet.
You say the profile for the fixture may need tweaking!!! that part I still don't understand to well!!! and have had a look around for tutorial videos and not found much on that subject.
Cheers

The Library editor is a little tricky to grasp at first. But once you get the hang of it it's a breeze to make or edit a profile. What I meant about the profile needing to be tweaked is that some of the values for each of the functions might not be to spec. I will load the MX 10 up on my program and see how it functions in the 3D, although I don't have an actual light to verify what the light is doing.
Also, keep in mind that the 3D is a great offline tool, but it needs to be setup properly before you can start using it. You have to consider the orientation of the light and maybe inverting the x or y movement. I did a video explaining it here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1byrXoytvQQ

Hi Casey,
Yes I've seen the video on orientation and have tried it in the visualizer, great video Thanks.
Look forward to your findings.
