Some questions about Lumidesk

Hello,

I'm Chris from Germany and a few month ago, I bought the Lumidesk Live Interface.
I downloaded the Lumidesk version of 2011/01/4 and updated the firmware to 1.07
It's my first DMX software and I'm very glad that I have decided on Lumidesk.
Now I have some questions about the software and the interface.


1) Is there any different between the Lumidesk- and Lumidesk Beta version?

2) When I open the Objects library of the 3D visualizer and select one object I cannot see it in the preview window.
There are only numbers and letters. Before I downloaded the Version 2011/01/4 it was ok!!!

3) Sometimes the LED_DMX 1 is illuminated and sometimes it's not.
What's the normal case?

It would be great if somebody could help me.

thanks for your post.

To asnwer your questions.

1. The Beta version is a test version with new functions, after a little testing time the Beta version become the official version.

2. The 3D visualisation was updated, I need to double check what it's causing this problem I will foward that to the 3D developper.

3. LED DMX 1, you mean the red LED on the usb/dmx dongle? what version of interface do you have?

Thanks for the quick answer.

I think the version is SIUDI8 V1.1 Lumidesk Live.
Before I updated the firmware only the LED_DMX2 was illuminated;
Now LED_DMX1 and LED_DMX2 are both illuminated.

do they blink?
Thats mean on the hardware settings the 2 universes are affected and the interface send DMX on both.

The LED_DMX 2 is blinking.
The LED_DMX 1 is not blinking it;s illuminated
