wishlist item x/y parameter

Would be nice to be able to adjust the x/y boundries of recorded scenes. Say I have recorded scenes but I get to a venue where the scenes need to be shrunk to fit on a smaller dance floor than what I recorded for. The pallets might be the answer for what I'm wanting to do, but I would only want the change made temporarily, unless I saved as a new show. I'm not familar with the pallets feature, so if that's the way to do it, please explain.
