Live Action Buttons

Hi, I've just started using Lumidesk and I've a couple of questions about the live action buttons.
The buttons only seem to work in stacked mode. Is there a way to get them in released mode ?
When I set up a scene that I'd like to save to a L.A.Button, I thought I'd be able to hit the "As you see now" from the dropdown menu, but this doesn't do anything. I have to set up using "Add a cue/Sequence trigger"?
On the dropdown menu there's a button named "Effect" What does it do ? when I press it nothing seems to happen.

Hello Paul, the buttons are only stackable, maybe we will change that on a future version.
To use the live action you need :
1. To select the fixtures you want to control in live on the Live Desktop
2. To enable the channels you want to control on the live preset window
3. To adjust the presets to get what you want to save on the live action button
4. To create a live action button and do "as you see now"
5. If you release the fixture from the live control and you click on the live action you will get back the presets configuration you previously saved

Concerning the Effect it's pretty much the same , you do steps 1. and 2.
3. Make sure to enable the channels you want to have on the effect generator
4. create the live action button and do "effect"
5. create your effect (same way that the Programation mode")
6. When the effect is generated you will have the saved effect on the Live action button

Thanks for your reply, think i've got it now

It would be great if the released mode could be included in the future, I have been using the live action buttons so I can trigger a group of cues with one press of a button, and it would be great if I had the option to step between the live action buttons without stacking.
Also it would be great if the live action buttons could be dragged and dropped anywhere on that side of the desktop, so you can arrange them anyway you want.

You can use the Lock button to unlock the positions
