new software upgrade/fixture problems with it

Hi,

I have upgraded to the new software release and now I have 2 fixtures that the software wont recognize. My Venue slim par 64 and par 38 are not being read and downloaded in the software. I re-downloaded the ssl personality from the website but i'm getting an error in the personalities and cant get them back into my show. How do I fix this?

it will let me re-patch them in but they are out of all my programming in my show. I need to get them back in.

Hello missbethany,

i had the same problem with my LED-Pars.
The fixtures must be stored in the ScanLibrary of your new version under the same Name and in the same folder as in the older version.
In my case, a clerical error of the old version was corrected, and lumidesk could not find the fixture.
Maybe this will help you.

Hello Chris, so you mean there is problem with our current SSL profiles?

Like Chris said, the profiles have to be stored in the same place as the profile with the original recording were stored. And also with the same file name. I'm still running the Mov 2013 Beta, have not upgraded to the new release version yet. Didn't know it was available until your post.

That does help we are doing a complete change this weekend and patches are changing so I'm good for now but good info to know!
